Phil Sorrells is the conservative Republican Criminal District Attorney for Tarrant County. Since taking office in 2023, he has remained committed to protecting our communities, supporting law enforcement, standing up for victims, and holding criminals accountable. A fifth-generation Texan, Phil has dedicated his career to public service as a prosecutor, judge, and now District Attorney.

With more than 35 years of criminal justice experience—including 25 years as a Judge—Phil has spent his career enforcing the law with fairness, integrity, and common sense. He believes the District Attorney’s first responsibility is to keep Tarrant County safe by ensuring that those who break the law are held accountable and that victims receive justice.
